Use of technology in education is One of the Prime skill in 21st century. To make teaching-learning process an interactive one, lessons are created using interactive boards through both online and offline resources. These provide a student a rich audio-video learning experience. Classroom is equipped with LCD projectors and supporting structures to enhance students comprehension, depth of learning and clarity of the concepts.
Library
At BIM , its dynamic - An open access library equipped with books, magazines and CDs covering a wide range of subject book titles. The library provides an extensive range of reading, learning and reference material for all age groups.
Teachers have a separate research space with computer and internet facilities where they can carry out academic subject research or other related work. The project reports, question papers, journals, magazines and periodicals of previous years are made available in the library for faculty and students reference.
Strict Silence shall be observed in the Library, reading room and in the reference section.
Library will be kept open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on all working days and from 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on Saturdays.
Students must have their Identity Card and Library Card at the time of borrowing the books.
Students can identify the books available at the computer terminal. On the demand slip write the title of the Book and the accession number and hand it over to the librarian for borrowing books.
Students have to return the library books and clear the dues before collecting the hall tickets of the Final examination.
If a book from the library is lost or damaged by a student who borrowed it, such student will have to replace with a new copy of the book or pay double the price of the book.
Sports
"A healthy mind in a healthy body". BIM promotes and encourages a number of sports activities. Our Sporting facilities include a Football field, Hand ball, Cricket pitch and practice nets, Basketball court, Volley Ball courts and Kabbadi courts, Athletic tracks, etc. The indoor facilities for Table tennis, Shuttle badminton, Yoga and Meditation. The faculty includes first class skillful good humor coaches for all sports.
Hostel Facility For Girls
Highly secured hostel facility with state of - the - art infrastructure is provided to girls in college premises. Hostel include both South Indian food menu, 24 hour power backup, emergency medical assistance, round the clock strict vigilance, Scheduled study hours with monitoring, and personality development programmes.
The hostel has been built to accommodate 750 students. Its facilities allow students to actively involve in the widest possible variety of activities ensuring in its hostel that each student finds and develops his own individual talents. Health Care
Intense care is taken to ensure the students health. There is a Sick bay, which is an open, airy and comfortable place. Basic medication and first aid are administered in case of an emergency. In case of a serious illness the child is immediately transferred to the hospital and the parents are informed, the arrangements are made to send the child home at the earliest possible. Parents are requested to keep the college authorities informed about any specific medical problem that a child may have. There are informative sessions conducted by expert medical practitioners to educate the children on health related issues.
Counselling Center
Life's challenges are on the increase and coping with these challenges, sometimes demand enormous effort. There are hard times when one may need help to deal with emotional distress. Even someone who has always been able to cope well, adapt to changing situations and survive, can be overcome by a sense of helplessness and loss. It can happen to any one of us at any time.
The College actively promotes the overall mental and physical health and wellbeing of our students to help them get the most out of their time at BIM, participate fully in campus life and intelligently prepare for life outside of the College.
At BIM, there is special counselling centre to counsel the slow learners and toppers. Part of the purpose of counselling is to facilitate students developing their ability to cope with stress and deal more effectively with difficult or challenging situations as they arise. As esteem and confidence are increased, individuals have a greater capacity to change their behaviour in healthy and appropriate ways.
The Counselling Centre aims at providing the students with:
Someone to talk to their personal, friends, family and confidential issues.
Help in solving tricky problems.
Advice or information about something to do with the college, or self-help information.
Short term counselling for something that is upsetting them in some way.
Enhancement of life skills such as communication, problem solving and personal growth.

Grievance Redressal
BIM has constituted a Grievance Redressal Cell with five members to probe into the students grievances. It redresses the grievances at individual and class level and grievances of common interest. Complaints dropped in the Suggestion Box by students and other oral / written / online complaints are also redressed.
The departmental level grievances are attended by the concerned class mentors along with the Head of the Departments.
Unresolved grievances at the departmental and association levels are referred to the Grievance Redressal Cell of the institution. The students can approach the Grievance Redressal Cell of the institution with their complaints of common interest too. They can drop their complaints in the suggestion box or directly communicate them to the Principal.
Depending on the seriousness of the problem, the issues are settled by the Cell or by the Principal in consultation with the other members of the management, parents and faculty. The collective efforts of the management, department heads, class mentors, coordinators of clubs and associations and the Grievance Redressal Cell resolve the complaints promptly and efficiently.
