"Exploring Tradition and Taste at Hanbal Chikki Factory"

BIM had organized an industrial visit to the renowned Hanbal Chikki Factory, Sakleshpur on 25th Nov 2024 to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the confectionery manufacturing industry.

The Hanbal Chikki Factory is a trusted name in the confectionery market, celebrated for its traditional Indian snacks made from jaggery and peanuts.

Students toured the production facility to observe the different stages of chikki manufacturing such as Raw Material Procurement and Sorting,Roasting and Mixing,Shaping and Cutting,Packaging.

It provided them with practical insights into the food manufacturing industry.
