"Business Beyond Books: Our B.Com Students at Chamundeshwari Sugar Ltd"

BIM had organized an industry visit to Sri Chamundeshwari Sugar Ltd. at Channarayapatna on 19th Nov 2024 .The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application in the real world.

Sri Chamundeshwari Sugar Ltd is a leading manufacturer of sugar.The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and operates under strict quality control measures to ensure high standards of production.

Students were taken on a guided tour of the production facility. Key stages of the sugar-making process, including sugarcane crushing, juice extraction, purification, crystallization, and packaging, were demonstrated. 

The visit has enriched students' knowledge and motivated them to explore career opportunities in the manufacturing and agribusiness sectors.
